The Archiving by Design project
was initiated by the National Archives of Norway in cooperation with the National Archives of Romania, funded by the EEA and Norway Grants (2014-2021). The project aimed to strengthen the Romanian National Archives’ capabilities in managing digital-born records through improved methodologies, training, and guidelines.
The core objectives were:
- Facilitating knowledge exchange
- Strengthening strategic competence in digital archiving.
- Developing guidelines for implementing Archiving by Design
